Second, we want to make sure that your receivers are working properly, domes are not torn or damaged, mic covers are brushed off and changed depending on manufacturer’s and finally the dreaded filter change. One of the most important things you can do as a hearing aid user is to make sure the filter is changed once a month even if it is not dirty, it just keeps the hearing aid in good working order, it is a proactive thing.
Another is made sure that you clean off the mic covers and brush those on a regular basis.
